Drop us a line! We'd love to hear from you.

We believe that the quality of our lives fuels the quality of our work. If we're not available when you call or email, we'll get back in touch with you real soon.

The Team

Cold Spring is passionate, thoughtful and flexible. We specialize in producing top-notch custom websites to fit small and medium-size companies' budgets. We believe great design belongs in everyone's lives, not just those with extra money to spend.

We work from home offices except when we're working together, or at client sites, on the road or in the woods. We're available for our clients and expect them to treat us with the same respect, intensity, professionalism and humor that we treat them. We consider pursuing dreams, playing daily and having fun to be as important as great design and live in search of all of the above.

We currently outsource some SEO, development, copywriting and photography but only to professionals that we know, like and trust. Otherwise the team you see is the team that's invested in building the best website for your company.

Jeff Lerman
President
508.865.5191
jlerman@coldspringdesign.com

Cold Spring Responsibilities...

  • Promoting Cold Spring, chatting with new and existing clients and picking up new gigs
  • Leading clients and team to create the best marketing communications solutions
  • Troubleshooting web development issues to keep projects rolling
  • Setting up hosting and very occasionally breaking out the duct tape when something goes wrong
  • Rolling up his sleeves and helping with website maintenance

When not in the office, Jeff is...

  • Enjoying life with his wife & kids
  • Taking care of his gardens and chickens
  • Reading, playing Scrabble, or yes, he just snuck back into the office.
  • Coaching or playing volleyball or, on those too-rare occasions, backpacking

Most obstinate thing Jeff has ever done...

Apply to medical schools claiming Stephen King's "The Stand" as his favorite book, rather than kissing butt and supplying a literary/scholarly title. The bad news was this resulted in another spot on a waiting list. The good news is he didn't end up as a medical doctor.

Most important non-family decision...

  • Appreciate everything
  • The first step is often the only thing between you and your dreams
  • People are more important than things; most things only weigh you down

Rachel Aubin
Project Manager
508.865.5191
raubin@coldspringdesign.com

Cold Spring Responsibilities...

  • Whipping the project management into shape
  • Wrangling Jeff's ideas on system improvements and attempting to put them into action
  • Pinch-hitting on website content placement and maintenance work
  • Acquiring SEO knowledge (and anything else she can sponge up)

When not in the office, Rachel is...

  • Running, running and more running
  • Flexing her culinary muscles and sharing the results with friends
  • Crafting, anything from knitting to handmade jewelry
  • Hanging out with (or likely picking up after) her spazzy dog Doyle

Most obstinate thing Rachel has ever done...

Graduated college a year early JUST because she could. There were obvious benefits of doing so, but drawbacks as well, like not being able to go abroad for a semester... and not being able to drink at graduation.

Most important non-family decision...

The first time she "ran away from home," a solo road trip at age 23. Along the way, she learned:

  • Distance gives perspective
  • Spontaneity is exhilarating
  • You can take as many rest stops as you want

Bryan Swallow
Web Designer/Developer
508.221.2987
bswallow@coldspringdesign.com

Cold Spring Responsibilities...

  • Combining his artistic abilities with his technical skills to design and develop clean, compliant, and beautiful websites.
  • Utilize his 15 years of experience in the digital news media industry to support internal and external projects.
  • Research and stay on top of new industry technologies and trends.
  • Work with and support the Cold Spring team to help deliver a great experience for their customers.

When not in the office, Bryan is...

  • Playing with his dog Abby.
  • Watching sports, movies or television series.
  • Listening to music or producing music.
  • Playing console or PC video games.
  • Spending time with his girlfriend on Cape Cod.
  • Watching the Boston Celtics basketball live or on TV.

Most obstinate thing Bryan has ever done...

He is a Boston Celtics fan. Through the good and bad he has always stuck by and enjoyed their contributions to NBA basketball with "Celtic Pride". Bryan bleeds green!

Most important non-family decision...

Road trip across the country from California to Massachusetts with friends. Some lessons learned:

  • If you think you made enough mix cd's, you didn't, so double it.
  • If you see a sign that says "Huge A** Beers", you go!
  • Word's can't describe the diversity of America.

David Corrigan
Sales & Analyst
508.505.0729
dcorrigan@coldspringdesign.com

Cold Spring Responsibilities...

  • Use his 25+ years in the graphic arts industry to locate potential clients and delicately communicate how their online presence might be improved.
  • Perform SEO evaluations and find ways to improve Cold Spring's clients' search engine rankings.
  • Review Analytics and generate ideas and content to continue improving our clients' online marketing.

When not in the office, Dave is...

  • Cycling, cycling, and more cycling. Did I say I love cycling? Riding 200 miles from Canada to the Massachusetts border in one day last summer was the most challenging ride ever for me.
  • Visiting National Parks and other destinations with the family.
  • Refining the art of photography to capture that perfect moment in time.
  • Binge watching The Walking Dead-over and over again.
  • Playing video games while riding my indoor bike (of course).
  • Cheering on the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
  • Enjoying date nights with the love of my life, my wife.

Most obstinate thing Dave has ever done...

  • Pursuing a degree in the medical field and decided half way through I didn't want to work within the medical profession.
  • A tortured Red Sox fan for many years until 2004 when they finally won a World Series and ended the curse!

Most important non-family decision...

Quit my job to train for the Olympics in Cycling. I didn't make it there but lessons learned along the way:

  • It is better to try and fail than to wish you had tried.
  • Would rather be in the game than in the stands cheering.
  • Broken bones heal!
